Every year, people across the UK are held back because they can’t get online.

At the same time, thousands of unwanted laptops sit unused in cupboards, drawers and offices.

By getting involved with Tech‑Takeback Foundation, you can help turn old tech into new opportunities — for education, employment, independence and connection.

Whether you’re a business, an individual, a community group or a supporter who simply wants to make a difference, there’s a way for you to take part.

Donate your tech

Give your unused laptops a second life. We collect, securely refurbish and rehome them to people facing digital exclusion.

Sponsor digital inclusion

If you don’t have devices to donate, you can still help. Sponsorship funds digital skills training, data access, repairs and parts.

Refer someone you support

Support workers, teachers, health professionals and charities can refer adults, families or children directly to our Laptops for All scheme.

Volunteer with us

From digital skills training to laptop refurbishment or distribution - if you have time and skills to offer, we'd love to hear from you.

Host a pop-up collection

We’ll run a secure, impactful collection event at your school, office or community space. Great for community or staff engagement, CSR and evidenced social value.

Spread the word

Invite us to talk at your group or event, share our work and help us reach more people who need support. Awareness is impact, too.

Why your support matters

  • 10 million people in the UK are digitally excluded.

  • Digital access affects education, employment, health and wellbeing.

  • Each refurbished laptop can generate tens of thousands of pounds in social value.

  • Reuse prevents e‑waste and protects our environment.

When you get involved, you’re not just donating a device, you’re giving someone the tools, confidence and connection they need to move forward.
